Video on remotely accessed Dashboard vs video on browser

I am having some issues getting video to work remotely on the dashboard. I use an IP Camera device with an image tile and a refresh of 1 second.

The weird thing is that the remote URL works just fine pasted into a browser (Safari or Chrome) but does not work in the Hubitat dashboard.

The format for the URL is as follows:

http://XXXXXXX.ddns.net:####/img/video.mjpeg where XXXXXXX is the dynamic DNS address and #### is the port number.

Again, this works fine remotely when pasted into any browser I have tried, but does not work when embedded in the Hubitat dashboard. As an aside, if I am on the local network and use the local IP address of the camera for the URL it does work on the dashboard.

I did some searching but came up empty. What should I try?

Thanks!

Not a solution, but the same video most likely works on Hubitat tile if you open Hubitat with Firefox - mobile or desktop.

I expect the reason will be, from my own understanding, is that remote dashboards are based on device data synced up to the HE cloud servers. There's a good chance I am wrong and would refer to @bobbyD (until I can find the support handle). I expect that you are using a VPN or something similar to provide you with local access to your netowrk, but that would not extend to access by the Hubitat cloud setup. If that makes sense...
