Very strange. 2.2.9.130

I went to update and first nothing was happening then it started going but very delayed. Then it stopped updating. Just went back to it's normal state however no automations are functioning. I went to check the "check for updates" and it say "hub rebooting" but it's NOT rebooting.

Update: I waited and waited and waited. Not actual reboot happened. So I tried a shutdown and that never happened either.

What happens if you ctrl+f5 your browser?

I did this from the app. I eventually, against my instincts, did a power cut.

I tried running the update again and it never completed.

When I go to try to update again.....

My production hub sits at that screen, and the 100% preparing the UI for quite a while, but eventually completes. Dev hub sits at the first one, but not so long at the 100% one…

I've tried to update 4 times now and it never completed. When it is at that screen it sit and sits then goes back to main menu still saying update available.

Is that from the App or the browser?

I've tried both. Admittedly both from phone. I'll try laptop...

Exactly the same behavior from laptop. I don't understand it. Everything was working perfect....

May want to check and see if the Restore from a Previous Version gives you the option to “restore” to .134

That's actually what I was checking. It does not give me that option unfortunately. I am currently performing a soft reset and restore and seeing where that leaves me.

If that doesn’t work we may need @gopher.ny or @bobbyD to take a look at it.

I've had similar issues with the last few updates. Update from my Windows 10 PC- Slow to start, then slow to download, then failed verifying download. I ended up clearing my cache and then I was able to get the update installed.
Never had issues updating before 2.2.9.

I was having the same thought. Seems as low 2.2.9 has become very buggy.

I had this occur on my update yesterday. I went to http://hubitat.local:8081 and did a reboot.

After this, from http://hubitat.local, I went to “settings” and “Hub Details”, then “Check for Updates”. The update completed successfully.

I did that also and kept having the same issues. I finally was successful after doing a soft reset then updating.
