This is common. The System message only notifies of the first available build after your last update. If there's a another build pushed afterward, but before you update, it will not be updated in the message center until the next time it the message center is refreshed.. However, you will always be shown the current available build when you check for updates.

I am currently on 2.2.6.130 and have notification showing today for 2.2.6.134, so I think this is not quite true. I think the hub just doesn't check for the latest version that often (or caches the results), so sometimes the version in the notification is not up to date.
You're right. That's more accurate. I'll update my post. This is a relatively new feature and I experienced different before. Maybe it previously had a bug, or maybe I'm just getting confused among my four hubs.
