Is it possible to use a variable to specify the time to Delay Actions?
If not, I would like to make this a feature request.
At times I need to delay specific automations/notifications for a variable amount of time, and with the new variable connector, I could enter a value on the dashboard and use that value in my rules to delay actions.
I know there are workarounds to do what I want, but having variables work with delay actions would be the most straightforward way.
I almost posted this yesterday. In my recent version 2.1.4.125, I can specify a var in the seconds field but not the minutes nor hours field. I think the input type for the two errant fields is set to accept numerals only whereas the seconds field is set to accept alphanumeric characters which allows the var to be specified in terms of seconds only.
I just verified the whole thing again to make sure it isn't just a browser issue. AFAIK it's hard coded as described.
EDIT: I typed this out because @dmeyer0 above me said something like ' just put the variable in the spaces' so I went into detail to clarify since I had the same problem. He stealth edited it a few days later to clarify his post, so now my reply doesn't fit the flow. His follow up reply below makes more sense with this clarification, which has always said "Good to know, I use it all the time in the seconds field but actually never tried the min or hours thanks for the clarification" in case it gets edited too.
