Use-case for Inovelli White Series

Has anyone used these? How are you using them? Is it just to control the power to non-smart bulbs or can they work with always on smart bulbs?

@jsvb1977 This is not a smart switch, but rather a switch to be used together with Inovelli smart switches in a multi-way setting (ie: 3-Way, 4-Way, etc). Works with both the Red & Blue Series Switches (less the Fan/Light).

Understood. Thank you. So, if I currently have a room with a traditional three-way configuration I will be able to replace one switch with a Blue and one switch with a White and the power will remain on no matter which switch in the room I toggle, correct?

Correct.

And if you are using smart bulbs just set the primary switch to smart bulb mode.

Adding to what @rlithgow1 said (thanks!) -- the switch is more of a momentary switch that emulates what it's connected to (which needs to be a smart switch). In other words, if you connect the aux switch to a smart fan switch, you'll be able to control fan speed from the aux switch, whereas if you connect it to a dimmer or on/off, the aux will act as a dimmer or on/off.

Some additional benefits are that if you wire it to a Blue Series switch, you can use multi-taps for scene control from the aux switch.

In your case, if you want to have full power for Smart Bulb Mode, it will work as well.
