I stumbled on a capability in the HE documentation called Indicator.
Can I use this as a way to toggle the dashboard or is it intended/designed for a device indicator LED or something?
I believe this is for in-wall switches that have an LED "indicator" at the bottom (most do), where you can configure it to be on when the switch is on (and off when off), on when the switch is off (and off when on), or never on. That being said, I don't think I've ever seen a Hubitat driver actually use this capability and the associated attributes/commands, just a driver preference instead of devices that support this...
It will not affect behavior on Dashboard--it relates to the real device. (And it will not help if you're asking about a "reversed virtual switch" driver in particular.
