I just migrated from my C7 to my C8-Pro. The process could be better described, but everything seems to work.
My first observation : After migration, your new hub is not protected by Hub Protect nor accessible remotely. I was able to transfer Hub Protect to my new hub, BUT this erases all your cloud backups, that is not really comforting the user. My remote connection is a monthly paid one, that I now cancelled.
The problem I see now is that there is no way to switch over to "Hub Protect + Remote Admin" for a better price. I can subscribe to the bundle, but there is no credit for the remaining time (9 month in my case). Why does Hubitat not offer an upgrade possibility, or does it exist and I'm just to blind to see it ?
It was on a monthly model and the credit card has expired. As I assumed to upgrade to the bundle, I thought that it is better to close it. That's not the big problem, the problem is that I can not upgrade hub protect to the bundle (aside cancelling it, loosing 9 month, and subscribe the bundle)
Use the "Other" category and let them know what you are trying to do, they should be able to get it sorted out. The subscriptions portal is not able to handle every out of the ordinary situation so sometimes they have to adjust things manually for people.
