Updating/finding firmware for devices

I don't know why this didn't click with me before, but how would I go about updating firmware for the random zigbee/zwave devices I may have? In my head, I've separated things that needed FW updates as wifi devices or things with accounts (they usually go together, so handled easily). But for some reason I didn't associate this with my zigbee/zwave sensors and outlets.

I guess the other half of this is do manufactures have an RSS feed for this stuff, heh.

There are a few ways to update, but require the right equipment. My theory is "if it's not broken, don't fix it"

Pity that you always need to have the Mft gateways for updates.

Like IKEA and Xiaomi

Yeah, I'd like to update the firmware on my Aeotec Multisensors - but seems I need a Windows PC and an Aeotec zStick to do that. :frowning:

The zigbee2mqtt project figured out how to do this for Zigbee, and it seems to work quite well for vendors like IKEA / Tradfri.

Any chance to have this adopted to work with Hubitat?
