I updated my c7 hub to 2.3.8 this morning, and the cloud links are no longer working. I downgraded to the previous version, 2.3.7.146, and everything seems to work fine. Do I need to make changes to my network setting with this new version?
No, there have been no changes to the platform that might have impacted your remote access, or cloud connectivity. Can you try updating again?
Can you confirm which cloud links you are referring to?
If you have any cloud integrations that rely on Hub UID, hub IP address, or Hub name, those could be affected by moving to a new hub. AFAIK app IDs shoudl be consistent.
Cloud dashboard links and Amazon Alexa failed. I’ve rolled back the version and attempted the upgrade again with the same results.
Just to rule out a configuration problem, maybe try a network reset on the hub after upgrading. (If you only need DHCP, as many do, this alone might work; otherwise, you can reconfigure anything special if needed--mistakes when doing which are a common cause of connectivity problems like this.)
The document I linked to shows you how, but in summary, press and hold the (only) round button on the bottom of the hub for 7 seconds or so until the LED flashes and the hub reboots, then see if it works when it comes back up.
