I just updated my C-8 hub to 2.3.8.125 two days ago and since then, my hub's entire Z-wave network crashes/stops functioning each morning. Zigbee is fine, but Z-wave details page shows no devices. I tried disabled/re-enabling z-wave but nothing happens.
Rebooting the hub brings everything back to life. However I do need to point out that my hub is automatically rebooted daily at 500am and as of 11am Z-wave was broken within the 6 hours.
shutdown the hub, then unplug hubitat for 2-3 minutes (at the wall not the hub) then power back up and see how it behaves. This will clear the radio (which rebooting does not)
If the shut down doesn't help, you could try a reboot and rebuild database (the rebuild database part is an optional step accessed from the Reboot pop-up).
You should also take a look at your Z-Wave Details page and see if you have any ghosts. The most common indication of a ghost is the last column (Route) is empty, and you may also have a "Pending" message in the device row.
Yes, I've got local daily for a week, and I have weekly cloud backups going back 5 weeks - far enough to recover from the recent update which I did last week.
I'll try shutting down the hub giving it a nap then reverting to a cloud backup if it acts up again.
