I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but my device won't update to version 2.3.4. hubitat doesn't see the update
Did you set a static IP on the hub side? If the DNS is not configured correctly it probably cannot find the update server.
Could also try doing it from the diagnostic tool
browse to HUB.IP:8081/ and then you need the MAC from the hub to log in.

Sometime you just need a hub reboot as well.

The BEST way to do it is to switch the hub to DHCP and then set a static IP reservation on the router. If you cannot do this for some reason and are not sure what DNS to set on the hub, this is the recommendation:
8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1, 9.9.9.9
This gives it multiple solid options to ensure it is always able to resolve DNS.
