I am selectively tuning the Routes of devices using the device level Repair button in the Z-Wave Details page. Most of the Routes are single hop -- great. I have one that is four hops and does not make any sense. I am watching the logs and the operation seems to be working at some level. How can I update the Route data for a device on the Z-Wave Details page? I tried to refresh the browser page and the Refresh button on the device -- neither worked for me.
The route information isn't quite real time. It's updated on a schedule, something like every 30 minutes. In any case, you have very little control over Z-Wave routing, which has a mind of its own, though a "repair" can make it re-think things if you really need to try.
If you aren't having problems, this isn't really something I'd worry about. (Z-Wave is mysterious, and what makes sense to it isn't always what makes sense to a human who knows where the devices are.)
Otherwise, waiting a little bit may change the display.
If you are not having issues with the devices just leave them alone.
Even if you repair it and it switches to direct, it may switch again on its own later. Z-wave does its own thing and you cannot force it.
