Update from 145 to 147 erased all zwave devices (afraid to update now)

Hey all --

I just got my first C7 hub this past weekend. Spent all sorts of time setting it up. Then I was on 145 I think, and it said there was an update to 147. So I updated. When it rebooted, all my zwave devices were gone from the radio. The devices were still in the device list, but in the zwave section, they were all gone.

I fully erased the device and started over. Now I see there is an update to 148. I'm afraid of updating - I don't want to lose everything again.

Outside of making a backup and downloading it to my computer, is there anything else I can do to ensure a smooth upgrade between builds?

Has anyone else ever happened to them?

I wish you hadn’t reset.. This is usually due to a rare radio lockup and can be resolved by a safe shutdown and power cycle

Ah, well, live and learn I guess. Now if it happens again I'll know what to do. Setting everything up the second time was much faster as I had already learned everything so it didn't take nearly as much time - but it was still a lot of work. Thanks for the solution if it happens again.
