I have a C-8 Pro (Currently running version: 2.3.9.143) and have been attempting to download the update to version 2.3.9.147; however, the download keeps failing. I have attempted multiple times over the past day and a half or so and I have rebooted between attempts. Is there something I'm missing or is there something that could be preventing the download from completing? All other internet traffic is working fine.
Before it ultimately fails, the download moves at a glacier's pace. One percent at a time and each one percent taking as much as a few minutes. For perspective, once I watched it get past 51% downloaded at one point (I was switching back and forth between screens) and eventually when I switched to another screen and returned it had failed. Other times I just leave it to run and eventually return and see that it failed.
Any thoughts or advice? Or just wait for the next update?
I'm currently trying to download and install an update (version 2.4.0.147) and tried changing my network settings, but it's still failing. Are there any other fixes for this?
@WarlockWeary,
Thank you for the pointer to network speed. My new C-8 was set to 100Mbps. I changed the setting to Auto and the 2.4.x download took all of 30 seconds.
The hub is rebooting as I write this note of thanks.
