Now that we have version 2.5.0.123, it begs the question ....

When can we have an update to the devices section?

Immediately followed by .....

What should an update to the devices section look like?

To answer the second rhetorical question, I see several ways to group devices:

  • Devices that are paired, included or set up individually, like Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter and WiFi devices
  • Devices that are managed through integrations
  • Virtual devices
  • Hub variable cinnectors

Please add other grouos as needed. I know my list only refkects my experience.

It would also be helpful to have a complete list of included drivers that are used and installed user drivers with the option to show the devices using each one.

Devices already have tags. They're more flexible than fixed groups. They'll get you most of what you've described. Perhaps the tag functionality can be enhanced.
