Unresponsive hub

I have 5 hubitat dashboards, no smarttiles or any other dashboards. Overall though they are unused, as in I dont use them too much. Still working on getting my automoations set up. What sort of things should I look for as far as polling, etc

I think the dashboard only polls for device updates when it’s open in a browser, so that’s probably not it. I would suspect it’s something in your automation.

Thats what I believed as well. I’m looking at my various logs, and nothing crazy going on. I have quite a few webcore pistons, but nothing crazy. I just shutdown, waited a few minutes, powered back on and seems better, but I’ve had to do that every day or so. Seems like it gets “hung up” every once in a while. Of course I’ve been adding things, and routines every day too

Might be a recursive loop in one of your pistons that’s going haywire after a certain trigger. Can you narrow it down by monitoring what time of day the issue starts?

Sure, will do. I looked at my logs, and dont see anything like that, but does not mean i didnt miss something.

Make sure all your dashboards have devices selected or choose the select all devices option. This will be fixed in next update.

I have one dashboard of just dashboards (no devices) I call it main menu, and all of my other dashboards have a dashboard pointing back to that one. Any issues with that?

yes, please authorize at least one device until the next update and reboot.

I was having delay issues, but recently I disconnected my ST hub and deleted the Other Hub app and that seemed to cure most of my problems. I don’t know if ST was causing interference or the OH app was bogging the hub down, but things are humming along much better now.
