My hub is unresponsive after changing the email address for the account and added the email address to the admin role. The hub is now associated with the new email address, but when I tried to connect to the hub it times out on the web browser. There is a network ping that works. I tried the diagnostic tool at http://192.168.128.3:8081 and the web browser times out and no display. The hub has a blue led on. I have pressed and held the reset button on the back for 10 seconds and then removed power for 30 seconds. Still no communications with the web or app interface. Find hubs does not find the hub and just a circling icon. How can I get this to respond? Just changing an email should not cause this issue! Help!!!

What model HE Hub are you using? The LED colors mean different things depending on which model it is.
Have you tried a different Ethernet cable?
Have you tried plugging into a different port on your router or network switch?
Have you tried a different power supply?
You can also try browsing to http://findmyhub.hubitat.com and http://hubitat.local to see if possibly your hub's IP address has changed after the changes. I like reserving an IP address for my hub in my router's DHCP server's settings.
An update, I used the hubitat.local login and was to connect, I am not sure the other ways of connecting do not work. All of my programming is there and working. I did see this.
It says there is no admin account listed. I think this is where the issue is at. I was changing email addresses and changing over to a new admin account. I also see this in subscriptions page. The email addresses are exactly the same. How do we correct that?
Any body able to offer a solution to how I can correct the email account on the c8 hub? @bobbyD I changed the email and followed the instructions in documentation but, unfortunately something happened and now I cannot access the c8 via app or web link. I can connect via Hubitat.local but I cannot make any changes. I log into my account, it finds the hub it says I am on the guest account which should have been the admin account. How do we get this corrected? I have tried a lot of items and can not seem to get anywhere.
You need to go into your old hubitat account and de register the hub, log out then log into your new account and register. That should take care of you.
Old admin account has no registered hubs. The hub shows up as registered in the new account, but still no access via web page or app using the new account. I can only connect using the Hubitat.local reference name.
The combination of these two statements strongly suggests that the hub's IP address is not 192.168.128.3. There is probably some other device at that IP address that is responding to ICMP echo requests (pings).
Since you are connected by ethernet to your router, the MAC address of the device at 192.168.128.3 should correspond to the MAC address space assigned to Hubitat, and you should be able to check this .....
Can you post the first 4 octets of the MAC address of the device at 192.168.128.3 (as seen by your router)? Those numbers are common to all Hubitat hubs (C-5, C-7 and C-8). It is only the 5th and 6th octets that are specific to your Hubitat - so don't post the last two octets.
Mac is 34 e1 d1 81
Router says that Mac is at 192,168.128.3
Now all with out doing anything, it now works fine.
Can anybody offer an explanation why it all suddenly works. I have not made any changes all day ?!?!!??
Something could have been cached. Whenever something like that happens, press the network reset button on the bottom of the hub for 7 seconds with a paperclip or toothpick (it is the only round hole out of all the square ones). Also use a reservation in your router's DHCP setup and not a static ip on the hub itself. (certainly never do both at the same time). This is the most reliable way of having it on the network.
Thanks for the ideas. It has a fixed ip in a non DHCP area of the lan.
I pressed the reset about 3 times for 7 seconds over the past three days and could not get access. I thought pressing the rest button would have defaulted the c8. The previous programming was still in there. It ran my rules and devices without issue last night and this morning. Color mean confused!?
My c8 is not responding again after losing internet connection I rebooted all devices on my network, Ethernet switch, c8, router fiber gateway. No ping to the c8 at 192.168.128.3 and not found at any other ip address has the Hubitat c8.
I pressed the reset on the bottom of the c8 and waited 10 minutes, no change. WTF??
Green led came on within 62 seconds. Was working fine before internet connection and whole cabinet power rest. Hubitat.local does not work. Using Mac dhcp reservation on router set at 192.168.128.3.
Rebooted router after pressing Hubitat reset button and still no ping to hub!!
