My C5 hub (ver 2.3.9.201) has run fine for years but has stopped working now. Nothing has changed on the network. I have rebooted and changed network cables. Hub cannot be found using any Hubitat diagnostic tools. Paying for annual user account. Very frustrating. Any suggestions?
Also - confirming - there is no reset button on this unit - correct? I do not see one, anywhere on the unit. Only power and ethernet adaptor.
There is. It is on the underside, as indicated in the Hub documentation:
Note that this is a network reset button.
What's the color of the hub's LED? Have you tried a different power supply?
Thank you - found and reset the button. Booted back up, now green. Still cannot reach it.
Have also run the Advanced Discovery tools at https://findmyhub.hubitat.com/
and nothing is found.
What router do you have? Can you log into your router to find the IP address it has assigned to the hub?
Somehow it is now back online. Perhaps the reset button did it?
And yes, I know the IP address via my router control panel.
Thanks for your help.
However, it appears that all my automation sequences are gone? Cannot find them.
Please do a soft reset and restore from the last good database saved on your hub. If the one from yesterday doesn't work, try one from a few days ago.
