Unifi Access Points Not Local

Hi Guys, not quite a Hubitat issue, however when my ISP has an outage, my Unifi AP'S appear to stop creating a WIFI signal, therefore my phone can't communicate with HE locally. I'm not a Teccy and know very little about my AP's however, has anyone else had the same issue and do you know how to resolve it.

What are you using to manage the UniFi access points?

Hi there, do you mean the unifi controller app?

Maybe check your phone's option to not disconnect from WiFi if it cannot reach the internet.

I have a full UniFi network and have never had an issue with accessing my home network over WiFi when the internet is down. We just had two nights of Spectrum outages last week. No issues with my UniFi Wireless Access Points.

As previously mentioned by @eibyer, make sure your Phone/Tablet is not switching over to a Cellular Network when the Internet is not reachable via WiFi.

I read there is an option setting that enables or disables the AP’s during Internet outage. I don’t use it but have a look.

Could be, I suppose you’re using unifi’s mobile app to provision and manage each access point directly from your phone?

The alternative is Unifi’s network controller software, which runs on unifi hardware like their cloud key or dream machine, or a windows/Linux PC.

Do you see any settings related to uplink connectivity monitoring?
