This afternoon at 12:47 pm my hub decided to switch to night. I've checked location and hub time settings and they are all correct. In over a year this is the first time this has happened. Software version 220.127.116.11. The only app I have that effects mode is setting Away with presence but no presence changes coincided with this.
Perhaps capture the logs for that time and submit a ticket to email@example.com
Thanks, I sent the info to support. I brought it up, wondering if it might identify a bug introduced in the recent software update.
