I am attempting to update my wildcard domain SSL cert from letsencrypt. The current cert expires in a couple of weeks. I attempt to paste my new cert into the ssl configure and get told the most helpful message “unable to save key pair” NOT! I tried several different formats only to give up and put the original still good until Aug 2nd key pair back in. Same message! That was the same cert it had before I began spending hours on this. Has a recent update broke the ability to put in user certs? The user guide says nothing about SSL certificates and the user data base mixes comments from 7 years ago in no particular order. So, what is up with the SSL certs in the web interface? What changed and what standard is Hubitat looking for?
Running into the same issue with trying to set a SSL Cert on the https://hubitat.[my domain]/hub/advanced/certificate page. I had a valid letsencrypt cert working, but it has recently expired, and my current attempt to update to my latest cert isn’t working with the same ‘Unable to save key pair.’ message.
As an additional note, it would be great if hubitat had this page’s features available via API or even if it could do the cert creation itself. (Recently Unifi added the ability on there routers)
@calcman , it should be saving the certificate, the UI response is wrong/broken.
Reboot the hub, and it should show the updated certificate in the connection details.
Will have a fix in the next build.
