After replacing our home network with a new Orbi mesh, I can't reconnect a Leviton D215S switch (2nd gen) to our Hubitat server, which waw working before the change. I was hoping someone with more experience with Matter devices could suggest how to trace the problem and help solve this issue.
I was careful to carry over my reserved IP addresses to the new mesh's DHCP table, before changing the WiFi network name, so just about everything else worked without a problem on the new mesh. I tried cycling power on both the switch and Hubitat, with no effect. I also removed the device from Hubitat and did a factory reset on the switch. At this point, the switch works with the vendor's "My Leviton" app, which provides a matter pairing code. When I try to add the device to Hubitat and use the pairing code, I get the "Looks like you’re having trouble pairing your device..." message and nothing else happens.
I successfully connected the matter switch to the Hubitat box a couple of years ago, just using the Hubitat's add device prompts. The switch's current firmware is ver 2.1.25, not sure it is the same one I had when successfully connected. I tried using apple Homekit, Google Home, and Alexa to "commission" the switch as a Matter device, but that didn't work. Looks like all these vendor now expect you to have more up-to-date pods or controllers than what I have at home, and that's a path I rather not take.
I appreciate any advice, thanks!
