Unable to create cloud backup for C5 to C8 Pro migration

Hi everyone,

I just got a C-8 Pro to replace my C-5. I have a Protect + Remote Admin subscription, but when I've attempted to create a cloud backup under Settings > Backup and restore, I'll get a message that the backup was created successfully, but when I go under the "Cloud backups" tab, I'm unable to view any cloud backups.

I've attempted to set the view to "All backups" under the "Show" menu, as well as clicking "Reload now", but zero backups are displayed in the list.

I've also tried selecting "Reload entitlements" from "Settings > Backup and restore" to see if the hub is unaware of my subscription, but this still doesn't allow me to create backups I can view.

My understanding is that I'll need to create a backup that can be viewed under "Cloud backups" before being able to migrate to the C-8 Pro hub if I don't want to have to re-include all of my Z-wave devices and recreate all of my rules again (doable, but would be a pain).

Hub is a C-5 and platform version is 2.3.9.154

Thank you in advance!

Are both hubs under registered the same username and account at my.hubitat.com?

Do you have it on both hubs or just the C8?

I haven't tried to set up the C-8 yet because the backup isn't viewable on the C-5 after getting a "Successfully created" message, so I'm assuming that the C-8 wouldn't be able to see it either.

What platform is the c5 on?

2.3.9.154

update to the latest platform. After update do a reboot, pick advanced then pick rebuild database, then do the migration backup

Thanks ! I think that did it. One thing I noticed is that the cloud backups now appear under "All backups" but not under "Migration-ready backups", but my understanding is that "Migration-ready backups" are only viewable on the destination hub (C-8 Pro in my case), so as long as I can see some cloud backups of my current hub, I should be safe to migrate:

I had a similar problem. The backup wouldnโ€™t show under migration backups. You must have the Zigbee and ZWave radios turned on prior to doing the backup or they will not show under migration. I had the ZWave radio disabled on one of my hubs because I only used Zigbee on that hub and it drove me crazy until I figured that out. Enable both radios and do the backup, then migrate and turn the ones off you donโ€™t want.

Thank you. Fortunately, I think both radios are enabled on my source hub, though I pretty much only use Z-wave
