You can add me to the list of users not connecting to the Cloud. I roll back as far as version 2.3.7.146 and still having this problem.
If any figure out the fix please let me know

Not connecting at all or getting disconnected constantly?
Then its not a platform issue, the issue in this thread came up during 2.3.9 only, and has been fixed in 2.4.0. I have not heard of anyone having the constant disconnect issues for a while now. If you have noticed you replied to 4 month old post.
well, I guess I will be factory setting my hub. Starting all over again which I don't minds so much. I rather be doing something else with my time. Unless I can download 2.40 ?
Before you reset anything, which will not help anyway...
Can you describe your home network, and how you have connected Hubitat to that network.
Also, did you tamper with any settings in the Hubitat Network tab, like Static IP?
No one ever suggested to factory reset. Do not do that.
Yes, just update to the current version, you will get 2.4.0.151
Unless you cannot connect to the cloud at all? You did not answer my question above.
I'm on Unfi system that has not change other than updating the system.
Oh , can not connect to the cloud at all
sorry about that.... I'm on Unfi system that has not change other than updating the system.
Oh , can not connect to the cloud at all
Ok I moved your post to a new thread since it has little to do with the one you replied to.
DO NOT reset your hub. I am sure we can get it online again.
Go to settings > Network > Network Test
On the ping test, try to ping an external IP and also a domain.
Try 1.1.1.1 which is the default.
Then also try cloud.hubitat.com
Post a screenshot of the results.
Example:
checking...
need to move to computer on the network need ten mins. will reply once Im on the network.
no problems pinging cloud.hubitat.com
While I am sure you don't think so, that's a terrible description. It provides no indication of your LAN's topology and segmentation. Neither does it provide any indication of how your Hubitat is connected to your LAN.
I currently have a private Vlan on unifi network as a secure network.
If you take your hub off this "private" vlan is cloud connectivity restored?
From where, your PC or the hub? I asked for a screenshot.
I will try that .... is there a certain port that is required ?
The cloud connection establishes an outbound https connection, same as how any other modern IoT devices connects to a cloud system. I do not know the details but it works in normal consumer setups without a problem. Does not require any special port forwarding. If you have it firewalled to heck then just turn that off.
Make sure you ping or traceroute cloud.hubitat.com from your HUBITAT hub. And post screenshots of the outcome.
For now, it appears to be that you've walled off your hub from connecting to the cloud by placing it in a private "secure" vlan.
This has been working for 2 yrs on the same vlan and never had a problem.
I also change the IP to open internet connect..
If you want help then provide the info we are asking for. If not then... dunno what to do for you.
