While updating some things on my hub I came across what looks like a UI bug. Hub is a C-8 Pro v 2.4.3.137.
Lots of screenshots below, but here is a text summary:
When using integrated mode manager, devices listed in "Mode resets - ANY of these will EXIT mode" will show the they are in use by "Exit Away mode setter". When clicking through from the 'In Use By' tab of the device, it is possible to navigate to a point where it appears you can clear and then recreate the list of devices for 'Mode resets', but following that path does not actually change anything. You have to start from Settings -> Modes to successfully edit the list.
Here is the whole process with screenshots, starting with the steps that DO work:
Accessing the mode manager from Settings -> Modes, I see this:
If I click the edit button next to "Away", I get this:
If I click the edit button next to the reset trigger, I get a screen where I can update the condition:
This all works as expected. I can edit the list of presence sensor devices and click Save and it will save the new list.
However, there is another path through the UI that looks like it allows you to edit this list, but it doesn't work. if I'm go to the "In Use By" for one of these devices:
and then click "Exit Away mode setter", I get this:
If I click on the first box, I get a pop-up with an Edit option. If I click 'Edit', this pops up:
If I click 'Clear', I get this:
If I then click "Presence Sensor", select one or more presence sensors, click 'Next', select 'Someone arrives', and click "Save", I end up back here:
Only 2 devices are now selected. The 'Save" and "Save + Exit" buttons are lit up. If I click either of those and then go check one of the devices that is no longer on the list, I can see that nothing was changed:
Here you can see that 'Virtual Presence Locks' is still in use by Exit Away mode setter even though it was not on the list of devices on the previous screen when I clicked the 'Save' icon. The same is true for all the other devices. If I got back to Settings -> Modes, the list of devices in 'Mode resets - ANY of these will EXIT mode' is unchanged.
