Two Conditions?

This rule for example works great. When Christmas is over the rule no longer runs.

This rule turns off my inside Christmas Lights during the work week - great.
However on Holidays (I have virtual switch for this) I would like the lights to stay on all day. Is this possible? I know I can go and pause each one would like to avoid that.

So on a Holidays it would pause the Christmas light rules to not turn the lights off.

Looks like the action is set to ON instead of OFF...? Unless I am misunderstanding something...

Regardless... You could always create a second Virtual Switch and add another required expression, if you want additional control between things that require the Christmas Automations Enable and those that turn things off.

Possibly set up a conditional trigger

That's a good point...

How many rules would you need to do this for @Randy513 ? If it is just one or two then my idea of another VS would be overkill, as you would still need either a separate rule to change it, along the lines of what @Pantheon posted, or to manually adjust it. If you only have one or two rules that would need this applied, I would do something like what @Pantheon posted, rather than a VS. If you have a number of rules needing this change, then it may be beneficial to have the logic in one place....

Not sure what I did but I can not make any more changes under my trigger. The save icon just keeps on spinning. See Green arrow.

Your conditional trigger there doesn't makes sense - A switch can't turn on if it's already on.

Yes, I messed up. Do I have to delete the entire rule and start over? I can not seam to make any changes to the trigger. I guess that is what I am going to do :frowning:
