Tuya Zigbee plug

C7

Platform version 2.3.8.122

I have a bunch of these Tuya Zigbee plugs. 3 of them drop off the network. Changing the driver helps for a little while, but then they go offline again.

The plugs that are flaky are TZ3000_okaz9tjs which I realize has issues.
What I don’t understand is that the other 6 plugs with this same exact manufacturer ID work fine.

If I order more from AliExpress, how can I know what the manufacturer ID is so I don’t get more of the TZ3000_okaz9tjs. ?

I really do not think there is .. It kinda of a crap shoot :frowning:
Have you tied " readding them " Do not delete them just re-add them.
Put them in pairing and re-add them .. they will show up already paired.
Sometime I have found this helps .. also may have to do this if you change the driver.
Do not forget to click configure when you change drivers.

There is no solution to this problem. If you search the forum for TZ3000_okaz9tjs , there are a lot of posts showing the same issue.

There is no way to know what will you receive from a particular seller in a particular moment - for them, the devices are one and the same, although made by different manufacturers at different times.

A possible workaround is (will be) the Tuya Matter gateways, but this is one more box and one more Zigbee mesh. And there is no power/energy monitoring via Matter at the moment. Just a simple on/off control.

I ordered 3 MOES Zigbee plugs from a different store on AliExpress.

They arrived today and have this signature

endpointId: 01
application: 4A
manufacturer: _TZ3000_yujkchbz
model: TS011F

These work great with the ‘Tuya Zigbee Metering Plug ‘ driver from @kkossev
