Tuya no-neutral zigbee light switches

Anyone using these with HE? I seemed to think I saw a post on these but couldn't find it using search. Questions are; (1) does the standard zigbee switch driver work with these and (2) does the switch really work without a neutral wire? Any downside from this type of device? (3) do they repeat? If so, any repeat problems?

Thanks.

Ps. Ah, they are so dirt cheap I think I will just buy a couple and try them

Anyone using these with HE?
Yes.

(1) does the standard zigbee switch driver work with these.
Yes. But I'm using @markus's Zigbee Driver with Presence.

(2) does the switch really work without a neutral wire?
Yes.

Any downside from this type of device?
Not for me.

(3) do they repeat?
No. They are in my zigbee routing table as child devices.

Perfect, thank you for the info. These look amazing value for money. I will buy a bunch!

Cheers.

I have some WiFi (not Zigbee) no neutral switches and they work very well. They draw a leakage current through the bulb on SW1 to get power. This is fine with most bulbs but some CFL/LED may flicker when OFF. If so they include a small yellow capacitor that you have to connect across that bulb which fixes the issue. Note it connects across the bulb i.e. in the light fitting or ceiling rose.

I have not had to use these and I don't know if they are even necessary with the Zigbee switch variant. Rather than Tuya Cloud I am using a local control driver (not on HE), I have not updated the firmware with Tasmota or ESPEasy,

Thanks @kevin, that's helpful info.
