So on the advice of several users here I've ordered 2 more Tuya repeaters, and not surprisingly they have a new model using the EFR32MG chip. The same chip that can support Thread, but not sure that will ever be implemented within these devices. I'm not 100% sure of the chip the older model Tuya repeater used, as it's impossible to get them apart without destroying it.
Anyway, curious if anyone has any experience with the newer repeater model.
