@vitaliy_kh if it’s helpful, I bought my Tuya ZY-M100-S on Aliexpress from Loginovo. Although it does send out those constant reports on the distance, and there isn’t a way that I’m aware of to disable it on Z2M, I’ve so far not noticed a negative effect on my HA Zigbee network since adding it a week ago. I don’t think I’d want to have a slew of them in my house, but I don’t plan to add more than one. I purchased this device for a very specific use case.
Thank you for the idea but:
- This sensor is ceiling mounted, I cannot do this plus wife will not be happy.
- I am not buying anything on Aliexpress.

I will need this Zigbee Stick only for the debugging reason (but who knows, once I will get
one maybe it became permanent addition on my HA). I will wait on @kkossev and/or
@mike.maxwell for the advice which one to get.
Re #1 - They have both versions.
Re #2 - I get it. I had refused to buy anything from them myself until they added PayPal. Since doing so, I find the buying experience to be very good and shipping time quite reasonable.
As for returns, well I personally wouldn’t try, unless it was a very large ticket item, in which case I probably wouldn’t buy from an Aliexpress seller to begin with.
Interesting. I did not realize the existence of a wall mounted version.
But I will wait a bit. Maybe I will be able to tune up my new YXZBRB58 toy.
I am not in rush since I have perfectly working setup based on multiple motion sensors.
