So I am trying to remove Life360+ from my hub (C8, 2.3.7.145) and I continue to get a "fatal error, rolling back" message when I try to remove it through package manager. I have looked everywhere I can think of to make sure it's not in use AND I've gone into drivers and apps code and deleted it there as well. What am I missing? My goal here is to remove all traces of Life360 apps/drivers from my hub so I can start fresh but I am stuck.
You may be experiencing something similar to @postmanjess here, though you are referring to a slightly different app...
The upshot of that experience and @csteele 's comments towards the end, if I am applying them correctly here, would be to try and unmatch the Life360+ package in hpn and remove the code manually in the apps and drivers code pages of the hub UI.
Ah, yes that will be the issue... You do need to do the unmatch. Ideally you should remove apps and drivers you install / manage via hpm in hpm, but as @csteele explained on the other topic, it is easy enough to recover.
