New here, been looking around to see if anyone has had the same issue. Been trying to connect an old weiser 450241 I factory reset the lock. Then to put in pair mode I just need to connect the A button but hubitat doesnt see it when I try to initialize the Zwave pair. I saw on here to exclude first but I don't even see it on there to exclude. Can someone help?
On where? The device should have a documented exclusion procedure (if you can't find it, try the inclusion method -- they're often the same).
On the hub, you need to start a general exclusion, which there are two ways to do. The easiest is on the same page where you're doing the inclusion: just click "Start Z-Wave Exclusion" instead of "Start Z-Wave Inclusion." If successful, you'll see a brief "Unknown Z-Wave device excluded" message.
This is the same processes noted in the documentation.
