Has anyone had experience with Third Reality Smart bulbs (Z1)? I used the normal zigbee manual add device and it appeared to mount correctly but once I turned the bulb off it wouldn't turn on, yet it seemed to still be connected as I could change its state and see it respond with a refresh command. If I use the configure command it may come back on set for very low color temperature. These bulbs are different as they include a repeater function. Suggestions?

Most bulbs do have a repeater function, this bulb is an odd ball, there will be a driver for it in platform version 2.4.0

Thanks for the heads up! Guess I will just swap out these bulbs for a set of Sengled bulbs (which are also a bit flaky but not as bad as the Third Reality) while waiting for the next release. Or is there a chance for a new driver in the mean time?
Just loaded the beta(2.3.9.198) and the 3rd reality RGBW bulb is "OF COURSE" fixed. Mike, great job and thank you so much.
Now to see if these make effective repeaters

2 days in, bulb is staying connected and holding its 16 bit address. I'm not sure if there is accurate data available around signal strength or its relevance, but the zigbee map app by Dan Danache, shows lots of red(poor signal) for this 3rd reality A19 RGBW. Most of my other repeaters don't have that many "red" connections. Hopefuly this doesn't translate to lost packets or repeated transmissions resulting in delays or missed commands. Although the bulb does make a ton of lousy connections

Thank you to whomever incorporated the updates for the third reality bulbs! After removing the old drivers and installing the updated system all their features appear to work correctly. Colors are accurate, fade times and levels track. After a week of solid performance I am so happy!

Have you found out how to update the firmware on these? It looks like Thirdreality put out an update and Hubitat is saying OTA updates are not available for these. Release notes are here Smart Color Bulb ZL1 – ThirdReality
