I have a C4 device that's causing me problems. Earlier today, I realized I couldn't log in. Other people helped me with that issue, but I now realize it's not actually doing anything.
I attempted to set up a basic automation to turn on a light with a motion sensor, but I can't get it to run. In my troubleshooting, it appears the hub isn't communicating with any devices. Here's the most basic thing I can think of, and I can't get it to work.
I've gone into devices. Picked a smart light. Clicked on the command tab and clicked the "on" button. I get the notification in the top right that "command sent". The light DOES NOT turn on. I click on the Events tab, and the only thing listed there is the last time I manually hit the light switch to turn it on.
I've turned off the hub in the settings menu. Unplugged it for 5 min and rebooted it. The problem persists. Both the hub and my Lutron system are hardwired on the same LAN network. Not sure where to go with this next.
I would take a look at the logs to see if anything stands out. But you haven't mentioned what protocol(zigbee, zwave, matter). Did this happen out of nowhere? Were you ever able to control any devices? On the surface it sounds like it might be mesh issue, but you mentioned not being able to log in to your hub, so very hard to say at this point.
