I cannot find where to adjust the time format. I want logs, etc to display the time (12h) in the month/day/year, NOT year/month/day.
My PC is correct, only HE is backwards.
I'm not sure about the date format
But time format 12h vs 24h is in the settings under locations and modes
I don't know for sure why it is that way in Hubitat, but I do know that when sorting things like a database, computers sort by 1 first, then 2, and so on. If you store things your way, all the January will be together. It would be (in order) 1/1/2017, 1/1 2018, 1/1 2019, and so on. That is a terrible way to group things, and tough to sort into usable groups.
I actually changed things like my pictures from my camera to the year first, so I get year, then month, then day. It makes things chronologically correct, even though it reads "backwards" to us.
I'm guessing it's in year/month/day so that it sorts correctly.
I do that on my own computers with files that have dates in the names.
Ok. That makes sense about the sorting order. Thanks
It's slightly confusing! As stated above the system setting is in settings/location. But there are also date and time settings for each dashboard in the dashboard settings / options.
