Time and Date Global Variable

I want to display the time and date of the last time a motion sensor and acceleration (vibration) sensor were active at the same time.

So I need to create a rule that assigns to a global variable a time and date.

However, when I go to create a global variable, I see a time variable, but it appears to me it is strictly time and not date. Or is there some way to store the date in the time variable? Or is there a separate date variable?

In a rule, you can use "%date%" to assign the current date to a string variable.
