BTW, the motivation was exactly the same as yours; I can’t stand Alexa constantly “talking back” with “did you know” etc etc etc. I searched everywhere for a way to stop it and everything I found said there’s no way to stop her… but then one day out of frustration, while she was in the middle of a “did you know…” I simply said “Alexa, stop saying did you know” and she hadn’t done it since! She even confirmed with “okay, I’ll stop saying did you know”. Still, she’s too talkative and annoying for me. Siri, here I come!
