So hubitat when you went to pair a device and you look the device up by brand name and model it actually had the device specific pairing instructions for the device, built right in.
Now it just refers you to a generic page and I think it's much less efficient and much less user-friendly,not having the instructions directly built into the pairing page.
Was something misconfigured or is this a purposeful change in the interface?
Unfortunately, not all manufacturers provide instructions, so not all devices have pairing instructions. What device were you trying to pair?
Hey Bobby, First off thank you for the quick reply. I've noticed this with several devices, I can't say every device doesn't have it, but generally assumed it was removed. I mean of course I can find the pairing info online, but much more efficient to have right on the hub. Inovelli RGBW bulb, Fan Controller, Motion Sensor and some others, let me look.
Was not, I just checked to make sure there wasn't an issue, but is not. The instructions we have, are still there for most devices.
