Third Reality humidity correction

I have a couple day old TR temp and humidity sensor, I also have an industrial temp/humid logger (usb download to pc) that came with a calibration cert. The 2 curves from the 2 devices tracked very well over the last few days on the same table
BUT temp was within 2 degs = I can live with that
the TR reported humidity tracked, but was 15% lower consistently. How can I add an offset so the tile number is what the more expensive and trusted logger shows. If I could just get TR+15 displayed that would be a good step.

thanks

Some community drivers allow the user to customize the values shown. Not sure if there is one for Third Reality sensors to do that, but you can search for one in the community. Alternatively, you can install Hubitat Package Manager if you don’t already have it installed and search there.

Once a new driver is installed, you just need to go to the device screen and change to the new driver. Then press the configure/refresh button(s). There is typically no harm in changing drivers. If the new one doesn’t work, just go back to the original one.

If there is a community driver that works, but just doesn’t have the ability to adjust the humidity level, you can update the driver code yourself or ask the developer to add it if they can.

Another, though more complex option would be to setup a virtual humidity device and use Rule Machine to automatically update its value each time the value of the Third Reality one updates, while adding 15% to its value.
