I just purchased a Third Reality Door / Window Sensor and cannot get it to pair with the Hubitat C8 Pro. I see old topics from last year but there wasn't any current information. Is there a trick to get these to pair?

Do you have other Zigbee devices paired successfully to the hub?
Did you follow the proposed pairing procedure precisely, not skipping any step? So far it worked 100% … For how long time the ThirdReallity LED blinks after you stat the pairing?

I just struggled with a Third Reality contact sensor. No trouble pairing but it would no longer respond after five minutes or so. I was using the generic Zigbee contact (no temp) driver. I switched to the Generic Zigbee contact driver and no further difficulty.
Interesting footnote: I installed this in my mailbox using the existing Visonic magnet and it wouldn't work. (The Visonic MCT-370 would only give me about 4 months of battery life. Didn't really want to mess with it in January.) I assumed a range issue and was about to give up and look for a z-wave LR device then it occurred to me to try the larger magnet that came with the Third Reality. Bingo, all good. Since there was no gap I was surprised that the smaller magnet was insufficient to close the contact.
Update; The Third Reality contact sensor couldn't maintain the connection in the same mailbox location that the Visonic MCT370 had for several years. I guess I'll have to live with the shorter battery life.
