That one Zigbee device

I’m about done migrating to Hubitat. I left all bulbs and light strips on my Hue hub and have nothing but ZWave devices on my C8.

Turns out I erroneously ordered an Inovelli Zigbee fan controller. I’m guessing trying to maintain a single Zigbee device on the C8 while all the others are on Hue wouldn’t work well right?

I don’t envision adding any other Zigbee devices if I can help it. Which means I’ll loose a handful of buttons but I’m guess the trade off is less problems down the road.

If the fan controller is within a reasonable distance of the hub, I don't see it as being a problem.

You should be fine, the c8 has a more powerful zigbee radio, and my experience with inovelli blue zigbee switches is great. They are strong performers.
Your hub should be centered in your home as much as possible anyway, and unless you live in a mansion, you should not have trouble getting signal. Unless you have a tin ceiling and foil faced insulation-ask me how I know.
