Is it possible to store a variable and use it anywhere else in the hub?
My thought is to store the IP of my camera system as a variable and use that in rules and dashboard images.
I just re-ip'ed some stuff in my network and thought, boy it would have been easier to change that in just one place.

I'm familiar with them, in rules. But can you use it in the middle of a string? And throughout Hubitat? And if so how? Ie, http://%VARIABLENAME%/blah/blah.jpg or something like that?
Sweet. I should have just tried it instead of posting about it. Trying now.

It works in RM rules with my http GET's, but not to include images on the dashboard. Better than nothing I guess.
