Tempest Weatherstation replacement

Anyone have to replace their tempest weather station yet? My temp / humidity sensor went out in mine and I received a new one from Weatherflow. They sent instructions to replace the existing one with the new one and use the same name and serial number. Was just curious if anyone has done this yet and had to redo any rules or will the device simply swap and use the same device in hubitat?

I can think of one option....

Mine has been running for around 3 years without issue (maybe 2-1/2)

Integrations are based on station id, not bound to hardware, so everything should continue to work, since the replacement keeps the same station id. I've done it once, 2 years ago and have to do it again, but been dragging my feet.

Thanks! This is what I was hoping for!

Which is what? I love my tempest. Love the lux sensor the most on it to be honest. But it integrates with so much I can’t give it up.

Was thinking more you could look at EcoWitt :slightly_smiling_face:

I have replaced my station twice, no issues with the Hubitat. My issue with Tempest was temp sensor both times, but this usually broke during extreme frost, so I attributed it to my location (Iceland).

I have that as well but mostly for other sensors. Soil, freezers, rain, and one comparison temp sensor outside. I like to keep my options open
