Temp sensor for refrigerator suggestions

I have a variety of Aqara and generic temp/humidty sensors from Aliexpress. They each just sit on a shelf in their respective fridge or freezer. They all work just as well as each other and I've been running them for about 6 months. 9 in total between a couple of fridges and freezers. Some of the Aliexpress ones do not report battery strength so I will keep an eye out for that next time I order any. But, I think you're over thinking it. Just buy some. If the temp sensor is already in the freezer then the humidity shouldn't condense on the cold sensor. They can handle it.
