ref : Any value to making "rooms"
I'd love to be able to put arbitrary tags onto devices (rooms, inside/outside, device types "Sensor" "light", etc.) and then be able to view, group, sort, collapse, hide(?) the device list based on those tags.
My primary use case would be to organize the device list by room, as that is a mental model that I find helpful. But their are many other use cases a flexible system could support.
Would be great if you could set a default "tag view" that would also show in places like device picker drop downs in Rule Machine and App since the device list becomes unruly and unsearchable when you have many devices.
