I have the same problem you're describing. My Switchbot Hub 2 was paired to HE using Apple Home and it was working okay for months and recently it lost connection, so I removed it and tried pairing it again without success. I was able to pair it with HA and Homey Pro with no problems. I removed it and re-added it to Apple Home but I still can't pair it with HE. I'm now using the Switchbot Hub 3 instead, and so far it appears to be working.
I'm also having the same problem when I try pairing my Homey Pro to HE with the Homey Pro's new Matter Bridge app. Works fine with HA.
Thanks, I think there is an issue with Hubitat matter support and removing/ re-adding this device.
Like you, I had it working once and after it stopped working I tried removing and re-adding with no success.
It's no longer found in devices, but I still see phantom blinds that were previously connected to this hub in the Alexa app and maker API app device lists which leads me to believe it's not really "gone".
I've ordered the hub 3, seems like an expensive fix for this problem but I'm fed up with my automations not working
Not a known issue, but there is a big Matter update coming soon in the 2.4.4 release that may fix your problem. Be sure to keep an eye on the new beta releases, if you'd like to be the first to test the new update.
In case anyone is interested. Today I noticed my hub and tilts were using the system drivers. I switched over the hub and the tilts to the Advanced Matter Bridge community drivers. It resulted in duplicate entries for my blind tilts, but once I removed the old ones everything is working fine. Open and Close now work as expected. I suppose I installed the community drivers in the past for this very reason and it's been so long I just forgot, and everything seemed to be working fine with the system drivers except that close issue.
Gave it a shot - and the System Generic Matter Bridge exhibits the same issue with the tilts. I've concluded you need to install and use the Advanced Matter Bridge with the this unit. Working great for me.
Finally figured out the Switchbot hub 2 pairing issue. Totally user error - I reset everything and from the Hubitat Mobile app chose Add Matter Device (instead of adding from Hubitat devices) - scanned the QR code, everything setup fine and showed up properly in Hubitat. Since I have the Hub 3 now, I'll just be using the temperature and humidity sensor.
