Ah, gotcha. But like I said in my first post, my tiles aren't working at all. See that post for details.
I know the devices are connected, as I can successfully change refrigerator and freezer temps from the device screen for that device.
Maybe I'm missing something--is there somewhere else I need to go to set up the tile parameters?
I've got a GE Washer Dryer Combo, that's part of the SmartHQ application but I'm not seeing this being pulled into the Hubitat side. Any work being done on this?
Does your integration make use of the SmartHQ websocket api ? If so how did you get the websocket end point ? I’ve tried to follow their docs for another integration but I keep getting an authorisation error when trying to obtain the websocket endpoint from the digital twin api using /v2/websocket. What did you pass through to get the end point?
You are an amazing human being. I just got a set of GE Profile laundry machines. The Washer has their fresh vent program to dry the drum after running your wash. However, when that program is running the machine state is run. This complicates my rule machine setup that makes the washer as running when it is running and then alerts me when it stops. I have come up with a work around that ignores the state of run when the time remaining is 0, but I was wondering if the current cycle is exposed to your driver and could be reported.
I just got a brand new GE Heat Pump Window Unit that supports heating. Everything works great with the "Portable AC" driver, except for one thing. Unfortunately, I cannot use the driver to set it to heat.
Is it possible to add the "heat" mode to the driver? I'm very willing to assist in any way needed, just let me know what you need and I'll do it.
I seem to have this working as in I can see my ovens. Is this app just for viewing the appliance status or is there a way to actually control the oven? Am I missing something, the only mode I seem to be able to set a sabbath mode. Was hoping to be able to turn oven on and off.
I'd like to the dehumidifier also like dale.boyles above. I have a few and it be great to monitor humidity in areas of the home. Great work on all this! Many thanks!
I am using the Smart HQ plugin. Works great most of the time. However, it goes offline once a week. All I do is refresh SmartHQ and works fine again. However, this shouldn’t happen this often. Any ideas or fixes?
I have the same issue. I made a rule that if no Smart HQ device updates in a 12 hour window then it will do Smart HQ init.
This was an issue in the past and I thought it had been addressed in the driver, but I have been seeing this lately as well. I just added the rule and so far it's been good enough.
The rule uses other hub variables and rules so it might not be clear what it is doing.
Basically the deviceactivity variables trigger the rule when I use some function of a Smart HQ device. Once a device is used it triggers the rule and it waits 12 hours. Each time a trigger occurs the 12 hour wait starts over. If no activity on a Smart HQ device then it send me a message.
If the second wait doesn't get stopped by a trigger then I get a different message and I know to go manually check to see what is going on. Haven't seen that message yet.
I am a bit confused. I usually works for a few days after I initialize it. Can I just have it initialize it everyday at 2am? Or is that not a good idea
This is it, but Tomw has not posted anything on the forum in about 6 months and hasn't responded to several questions in here, so he may have moved on to something else..
I'm coming back to this. 1st Build released their Interface board for GE Appliances. Its an interface card with and ESP32C3 on it. It plugs into the appliances RJ45 data port and connects via WiFi to a local MQTT Server. Internal traffic from the appliance bus published to an MQTT Server.
The boards been out about a year. This is a re-spin of their Green Bean Board which was a USB interface to the appliance.
There is code for decoding the post on GitHub. I'll let you know hot it goes when it arrives latter this month.
