I have a rule that gets fired off each morning before sunset here - and the sunrise variable does not seem to change (first line in actions). The sunset does increment slightly each day, but not sunrise. What am I missing?
Since we're almost at the summer solstice, my sunrise time doesn't change to the minute for many days. Is it possible you're seeing this as well? You could edit SunUp and set it to say 1:00 AM and do a Run Action to see if it is actually updating the value.
I'm curious, what's the point of that rule? I use timers based on Sunset/Sunrise and it works fine without having to set the sunrise time first.
The variable does get updated. It's been the same sunrise for 11 days, but maybe you're right in that sunrise doesn't change that much this time of year?? I wrote because my local almanac says sunrise today was a minute later. I'll see what happens in the few weeks... Thanks!
