Sunricher MW motion sensor

@mike.maxwell got some of these to test they joined find but looks like the configuration done by the driver seems odd?

Looks like things are turned off that don't make sense to, can't be sure.

How did you find them did yours work etc.

Just seemed that they were slow but just shined a light in it and it updated quickly.

Then now it did go active correctly as well.

I have two of them in production (two different models)
I'm not using the lux reporting on them, but haven't noticed any delays in reporting.
They do need to be power cycled after changing the motion sensitivity for that to take effect.

This I think was the issue.

You can change the values over BT and that does a reboot. There are loads of other parameters but not sure if they do what I think they do.

There is a motion sensor sensing distance which I not sure you adjust? But it's detecting me though the floor :joy:.

Looks like that default is 1 and 8 seems to be better but I think you might be setting it back to 1. If I'm even on the correct track.
Have you played with the extra options?

Was trying to make the LED not stay on as long.

The BT changes does a reboot to the device is this not possible over the network? saves having to power cycle it.

Do you know if there is a way to turn off the LED?

Also for giggles what is your firmware version?

I’m at 35 FW, the damn LED can’t be turned off, I asked the factory about this.
I didn’t implement any of the 10v control stuff, other than that what other parameters are you interested in?

Definitely going to ask about this. We bought a *uck load of kit to try so going to go through lots of it and comment on it with them. Seems like a massive mistake not to be able to turn it off as it's BRIGHT!

Going to try and get you all the files and hopefully the release notes as it would be easier to update the stuff through HE.

Yeah not sure if this would be used or no it's not that much of a thing over here. It would be good to have it as a option maybe though.

Mostly the lux stuff and if there is a way to reboot the device (this is top on my list to them as it's very odd the down power requirement) to adjust the sensitivity.

Would be cool if you could in put the lux and it calibrated it.

Everything else is the 1-10 stuff.

Like I said I already asked about disabling the LED, it’s not possible as there’s no circuitry to do that.
Same for the reboot

kinda reminds me of the electrical tape over the CEL trick, lol
