Sun..rise/set is displayed differently in my C-5
My C-4 shows exactly.
I bought this device second-hand from abroad.
Attached is the photo below.
What's the problem?
This is calculated from the latitude and longitude. Make sure these are correct for your location. (A default value will be provided from your postal code, but I don't think that works outside the US, UK, or Canada, which it appears you are.) Also, ensure your time zone is correct.
This can all be done from Settings > Hub Details on new-ish hub firmware. The current series is 2.3.3.x, which I'd recommend using if you're not already updated. This page and Settings > Check for Updates will tell you for sure.
My firmware is always up to date.
I have four devices, and they are all North American products.
Only one device gets incorrect information.
If I do Update from browser, the time is correct, but Sun..The value of the rise/set is invalid. You can check it in the picture.
Is the longitude and latitude correct? Your screenshot doesn't show that, so we can't see if it is set correctly, or at least logically for your location.
Are you really in Korea?
With rare exception (e.g., some thermostats have an internal clock that can be synced from the hub), devices do not keep track of your local time and never sync it back to the hub, so this should not be relevant.
I'd second the advice we both gave above: check the latitude, longitude, and time zone in Settings > Hub Details.
That's right. This is Korea.
Resolved. Thank you.
I applied Latitude/Longitude of C-4 to C-5 as you advised. And when I pressed Update from browser, it changed to a normal situation.
Thank you for your advice.
It's usually automatically converted, but I don't think it was this time.
